January's Get Active Day!

I know we need to be active more than once a month, but we need to start somewhere.  We will be scheduling outings once a month to enjoy nature, photography, hiking, and spending time together.  This month since we were spending a weekend in Ohio, I decided it would be fun to take the boys and mama along for the fun!  No, I didn't think the whole thing through.  I just thought YAY HOW FUN!!!

We went to Grant Park in Centerville, Ohio.  It was a nice little park, but VERY MUDDY, WET, ICY!

I love my nephews!  Well that goes without saying, but I love watching them learn.  They were amazed with everything even though it looked so worn out and dirty.

Since the Nature Center wasn't open we don't know the history of the park.  They had some interesting stone fireplaces.  There is another entrance with a playground so maybe we will have to go back another time.

The boys were great!  The next day G even asked if we could go hiking!  I promised them another hike in the summer and a picnic!

Tomorrow is a new day...make it great!
