Decision to Go Oily!

I have been researching Essential Oils for about 6 months.  I am consciously making changes to have a healthier lifestyle.  Yes, I have A LONG WAY TO GO! In 2014, I went to see a neurologist after my anemia was officially under control and I was still falling.  I also hadn't had my pituitary tumor looked at in a number of years.  There weren't too many new discoveries.  I went to therapy for my inner ear issues and it helped a lot.  I still have issues but wanted to try and find something else that wasn't medication.  The medicine knocks me out for days.  Yes it works, but I don't want to be in a fog for days on end.

This is how I discovered the oils.  I went back and forth with the idea.  Ultimately I thought what could it hurt.  I am not taking the medicine now because I don't like the side effects.  I learned about all these other benefits from the oils.  I also know how they can help with my puppers.

Last month after attending a workshop on Young Living Essential Oils, I ordered my Premium Starter Kit.  I researched the oils that came in and found that many can be used right away and others I need to learn more about first.

Almost immediately we noticed the effects of the oils.  They are amazing.

We have only tried a couple things so far.  We are using a diffuser at night with Lavender and Stress Away.  It is definitely working with the snoring at night!  I don't just mean with Drew either.  The puppers are sleeping better too!

I have also been using Lavender and Peppermint on our neck and around our ears and the congestion cleared right up!  Now I can smell again...it isn't a good thing necessarily lol

I have many more ideas for my oils.  Just one step at a time.

On Saturday, I did a Zyto Scan to see what oils my body needs and placed an order for a couple of those.  I can't wait to see how they work too!

In the meantime, I will be attending more workshops and learning more things about the oils.  My goal is to make our cleaning products not only to save money, but help the environment, and eliminate as many chemicals from our lives as we can.

Until next time...
